ABS Wave Vertical Reactor‌

As water flows upward and downward through the troughs and crests of the wave plates, the rapid changes in velocity create numerous vortex zones. These turbulence-inducing units enhance the turbulent state, enabling full and effective collision of flocs, thereby improving flocculation efficiency.

Technical Specifications

  • Three-stage flocculation is generally adopted, with the volume (retention time) of each stage arranged in a progressively doubling pattern: V₁ : V₂ : V₃ = t₁ : t₂ : t₃ = 1 : 2 : 4, with average flow velocity increasing in inverse proportion: v₁ : v₂ : v₃ = 4 : 2 : 1.

  • Single wave plate: wavelength 500 mm, wave height 100 mm.

  • Standard clear spacing between wave plates: crest spacing 30–60 mm, trough spacing 230–260 mm.

  • Customized fabrication is available upon customer design requirements.

Features of ABS Wave Vertical Reactor

  • High volumetric utilization efficiency, low dispersion coefficient, and strong resistance to hydraulic shock loads.

  • High flow velocity at the neck section; as water enters the expanded chamber, vortex zones are formed, facilitating floc aggregation and sedimentation.

  • Simple equipment design, easy maintenance and management, with low investment and operating costs.
