Electroplating Wastewater Treatment Technology

Heavy Metal Wastewater Treatment System

Process Overview

The electroplating heavy metal wastewater treatment system comprises:

  • Oxidation precipitation reaction tank (with TN-102 dosing)

  • Heavy metal capture reaction tank (with TN-101 dosing)

  • Coagulation reaction tank (with coagulant and coagulant aid dosing)

  • Inclined tube sedimentation tank

  • Microfiltration recirculation reaction tank (with TN-103 or TN-104 COD adsorbent dosing)

  • MF membrane module

  • Composite ion exchange bed (with multiple blended chelating resins)

  • Online heavy metal analyzer

The treated wastewater can meet Table 3 discharge standards.

Note: TN series are specialty water treatment agents with nearly 20 years of proven project validation and consistent, reliable performance.

The TN series heavy metal wastewater treatment upgrade solution process package includes:

  • TN-Bretrap Pretreatment Process – heavy metal complex breaking and capture

  • TN-CoMF Treatment Process – microfiltration/UF membrane treatment

  • TN-Exchange Control Process – composite ion exchange beds

This solution is specifically designed for the upgrade and standardization of complex heavy metal wastewater containing suspended solids, organic pollutants, and complex compounds simultaneously. Its treatment performance is stable and excellent, and has successfully helped many foreign-invested, joint-venture, and state-owned enterprises in the electroplating and electroless plating sectors meet Table 3 discharge standards, with recognition from environmental protection authorities.
